The transfer between Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and Versailles Palais des Congrès connects the Roissy-en-France airport complex with the historic center of Versailles. If the flight is delayed or the terminal changes, the latest flight information remains the most reliable reference for planning the rest of the journey.

From CDG, the road route leaves the airport complex and joins the eastern and northern freeway network of the Île-de-France region. Depending on traffic and access conditions, the route may head toward the A1 and then use Paris bypass routes before joining the A86 and roads serving Versailles. There is no single route that applies at all times: navigation apps may suggest alternatives depending on traffic jams, roadworks, an accident or a temporary closure.

The approach to Versailles becomes more urban as you get closer to the Notre-Dame neighborhood and the Place d’Armes. The Palais des Congrès is in a central setting surrounded by historic streets, cultural venues and visitor traffic associated with the palace. The final part of the journey may therefore be slower than the freeway section, even when traffic farther out is relatively light.

Versailles Palais des Congrès is an event venue located opposite the palace. Its official address is 10 rue de la Chancellerie, 78000 Versailles. For a delegation or event attendee, it is recommended to provide the venue’s full name along with this address, as the generic description “conference in Versailles” could lead to another venue or to one of the city’s train stations.

The venue hosts conferences, seminars, conventions, trade shows, meetings and cultural events. It includes a central auditorium and several meeting spaces. However, organizers may use specific entrances or instructions depending on the event setup. The invitation, badge or information provided by the organizer should therefore take priority when identifying which entrance to use.

For a departure from CDG, provide your flight number, expected terminal and the full address of Versailles Palais des Congrès. For a return journey, specify the terminal and departure time so that driving time, airport procedures and check-in can be taken into account. Conference schedules can also lead to groups arriving together: a delegation, several speakers or attendees carrying equipment may require separate arrangements.
